The Upper Room Ministries, AOG, is comprised of several ministries and departments. Not only do these ministries and departments exist to ensure the smooth operation of the church but so that every member is given the opportunity to discover and exercise their God given gifts. Simply because, exercising our talents and gifts is our reasonable demonstration of a life surrendered to God. The following are ministries where you will grow into the image of Christ!
Men's Ministries
The Men’s Ministry of the Upper Room Ministries, AOG was created to meet the unique needs of men of this time. Through mentorship and discipleship relationships, men are challenged and supported to be the head of their households as godly men. Women's Ministries
Women of Radiance is a forum all women to learn, encourage and grow in the knowledge to be godly women. Women of Radiance is a place of support for women in every area of their lives including health, spiritual growth and taking care of their families. Women encourage each other and grow through mentorship, discipleship relationships. Women of Radiance is open to all women of all age group, single or married, saved or unsaved and members and nonmembers of Upper Room Ministries, AOG. Children’s Ministry
Children are an inheritance and are precious in the God’s sight. The Children Ministry teaches children the truth of the kingdom of God at their level in a loving, caring and patient environment. Not only are children taught the word of God but they and given opportunity to demonstrate and share what they learned. The Children’s Ministry meets every Sunday at 10am during the Education Hour. Annually, the church hosts a weeklong Vacation Bible School for any child wishing to attend. See the calendar for events and programs.
Youth and Young Adult Ministry
Godly Unstoppable Soldiers That Overcome, GUSTO!, is the youth and young adult ministry of the Upper Room Ministries, AOG. GUSTO! equips the young soldier to live life on purpose by God’s grace. In GUSTO! youth and young adults are given the tools to discover their talents and spiritual gifts. Furthermore, they are given opportunity to develop and exercise them.
